This song triggered something in me when it was released. I listened to this song on repeat on every single run I went on. I let the words consume my brain.
One night, in December of 2024 the abuse got so bad, I ran up into my place of refuge (in my own home), I put my headphones, on, I played this song, and I decided it ended right there, with me.
I left my abuser the next day. I escaped. He made it hell on me, but I made it.
